Mission:

Contacts:

The Common Enterprise Models Domain Task Force mission is to enable development of models applicable in multiple domains. Examples of these
models include workflow, document repository integration, knowledge management, software portfolio management, and organization structure.

To achieve its mission, the task force will prepare requests for proposals, evaluate responses and recommend proposals for adoption as OMG specifications for cross-domain models. It will facilitate and promote:
  • Use of model driven architectures to specify cross-domain, platform independent models, with mappings to platform technologies;
  • Collaboration with other domain task forces to identify models of common interest.
  • Use of common models in vertical domain task force standards;
  • Simplicity in specifying, using and deploying cross domain models for solution and application developers;
  • Interoperability between independently developed components specified by cross-domain models.
